1. Egg Nog or Hot Chocolate? Hot Chocolate with LOADS of marshmallows!

2. Does Santa wrap presents or just sit them under the tree? Wraps all but the one that was #1 on the wish list. (ya gotta wrap 'em to slow them down!)

3. Colored lights on tree/house or white? Which tree? LOL! Kids tree is Multi colored LEDs, the Fragile, glassblown ornament tree is solid white, the kitchen chili pepper tree is red and white only.

4. Do you hang mistletoe? YES!!! and my kids will go stand directly under it to see if I catch them!!

5. When do you put your decorations up? when it's convenient, no set agenda

6. What is your favorite holiday dish (excluding dessert)? Breakfast casserole & cinnamon rolls Christmas morning in our PJs.

7. Favorite Holiday memory as a child. ????? The year I was in 1st or 2nd grade and my brother in High School at the time had a job and shopped with his own money. He bought me TWO gifts that year.... a set of wireless headphones with built in AM/FM radio and a stuffed dog called HENRY. I was thrilled!---

8. When and how did you learn the truth about Santa? WHAT TRUTH ABOUT SANTA??? LOL! Are you talking about the fact that he will INDEED still bring toys and gifts to naughty boys and girls even after the threat of a chunk of coal being left in your stocking? ---

9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve? Yes, that's when we do just "our" family gift exhange to each other.

10. How do you decorate your Christmas tree? Three Trees - Kids Tree ~ all the years worth of memories and homemades. Fragile Tree - All glass blown, heirloom and otherwise expensive ornaments. Kitchen Tree - Chili pepper/Western Cowboy theme.

11. Snow! Love it or Dread it? LOVE IT When we go skiing in Colorado, Love it for 3 days worth of School being out per year, but after that... Well, I'm a summer baby!

12. Can you ice skate? yes, but not backwards!

13. Do you remember your favorite gift? A teddy bear named Charlie (still have him)

14. What's the most important thing about the Holidays for you? That moment in the Christmas Eve candlelight service, singing silent night acapella when tears fill your eyes and you realize what a gift we've all been given. You look left and look right to see the faces of your family softly lit by the warmth of a single candle burning. The twinkle in their eyes, the rosiness of their cheeks, and the smile that comes from a heart so full. That's Christmas!

15. What is your favorite Holiday Dessert? Fluffy but not Stuffy or Coconut Chess Pie

16. What is your favorite holiday tradition? Every year before we open family presents we have some read the Christmas story in the book of Luke.

17. What tops your tree? An Angel my family has had since before I was born. It's an honor to be chosen to be the one who gets to put her up there.. we alternate so everyone gets a chance.

18. Which do you prefer giving or Receiving? I love giving. I love to see the delight in the recipients face.

20. Candy Canes! Yuck or Yum? Traditional peppermint YUCK! Lifesaver flavors YUM!

22. Saddest Christmas Song? Not for it's lyrics but because it was a song we used at the funeral of a neice and one that will played at my mothers and mine one day when that day comes, I guess I should say,
Agnus Dei on the Amy Grant's A Christmas to Remember CD. It's a hauntingly beautiful song but I think of my niece who died in a auto accident last year.
