Wow, doesnt seem that long has passed since YFB had been removed but I guess it's been awhile. So many changes, updates. Right before I left, I had graduated college then started a new job as a technical writer/editor. Still there. Love it.
My DD is six years old now and she's amazing. We are a lot alike so sometimes we clash but we're also very close. She is a natural nurturer, the one big difference between us. She is just so motherly, it's amazing and she touches me and makes me want to be that better person.
DH started a new job just a couple weeks ago after being at his past job for ten years.
Things are going well. OH, and we added to the family. A year ago (on Black Friday, in fact) we got a puppy, half pug and half jack russell (jug). Then in the spring, we saw an ad about an Old English Bulldog. My DH has always wanted a bulldog but we werent sure if we wanted two dogs. But we bit the bullet and got Duke and best thing we've ever done. Duke and Sam (the jug) are best of friends and my DD is amazing with them. She really does her part in taking care of them. I cant believe I went through life without ever having a dog. Aw, they just constantly tug at my heart.
