Alot of different companies have merchandisers/vendors that go to different stores to work, Hallmark & American Greetings, Nabisco, Coke, beer suppliers, Lays (the last 3 require deliveries), Pepperidge Farms, different candy companies, different food companies send their reps in to check code dates and pull the expired merchandise and give the store credit for it (most times you can take home for free). I work for a company that only services military bases, that is why it is a bunch of different companies. I found my job from the person who was quitting the job, I had worked as a merchandiser for American Greetings in the same military base, she had gotten a territory manager position and she told me the position was coming open, it wasn't advertised, I was hired on the spot. I love my job most of the time!
