I was just reading about this in the paper, around here the average rent is over $1000 a month and you need to over $20 an hour to live here.

For us personally...........hold onto your chair........ our taxes alone on our house are almost $10000 a year. Our morgage alone with a 5% intrest rate without taxes and insurance are $1600 a month!

Granted we have a big house 5 bedrooms and 3500 sq. ft. that we bought at a tax sale, but the car insurance and the taxes alone kill us.

Our bills per month:

$206 truck
$75 electric
$135 phone, satelite, internet together
$100 cell phones
$90 preschool
$300 food
$200 life and car insurance
$300 credit cards (no intrest ones, paying them off)

those are the biggies. Don't move to Jersey the taxes and insurance will kill you!

I am curious how much in taxes the rest of you pay? I know we are the highest in the nation tax wise as well as for car insurance I believe.
