Twinsforme99 Tell your brother it's ok to eat, just to eat no fatty foods. I had my gall bladder taken out after my last child was born and the attacks are terribly painful, worse than child birth for me. The doctor told me the attacks caused by eating fatty foods and sure enough, I cut back to less then 10 grams of fat a day (until my surgery 2 weeks later) and didn't have any attacks at all. So basically you can eat lean meat, veggies, fruit, cereal with lowfat milk, rice, there's alot of food you can eat, but you cannot eat normally, you cannot use alot of butter, cheeses, no fried foods or that type stuff. You really have to be careful with the fat content, but it is ok to eat.
