it's saying wrong format so that tells me that you probably downloaded a WMA format which is not compatiable with mp3 players, wma format is associated with Windows Media and wont play on most other programs especially mp3 players like ipods, zune...etc. what you need to do is get a converter which you can find online to download and it's free, all you do is convert the songs from the file format they are to the MP3 file which is compatable with all mp3 players, a good mp3 converter is goldwave, you might be able to do a google search for it and may be able to get a trial. it's a really good and trusting program. when your granddaughter goes to download music, make sure to tell her to look at the ending of the song file before she downloads it and she should always download with an ending .mp3 so it'll be compatable with most players.
