"if you charge rent to your kid, is it then a landlord/renter relationship, or as parents, do you still give curfews, make your rules for them to abide by, tell what to do, etc.? I would think not since they are paying you, but am curious."
Charging parent here but no I'm still Mom. AJ has no curfew. once I awhile he will help with housework, walking the dog, he does his own laundry. As long as he goes to work (we work at the same place and I hear it if he doesn't show up) I'm a happy woman.
