First, I would consult with an attorney. I am sure this was an honest mistake on the part of the phone company, unfortunately, honest mistakes can be dangerous. Do you have any documentation proving that you requested the information remain private? If you do, I would ask the phone company to change your number and set you up with a caller ID package where you can block numbers, block anonymous calls, etc. They ought to do this at their own cost. I am sure a qualified attorney could offer more advice. I am guessing that you have some sort of retraining order against the unwanted parties.
