Well, I worked at an advertising agency for almost 2 years before my DD was born and was the sect'y for the artistic director. The people at this agency (as I think is true of many agencies) were young and creative and very laid back. I met a lot of people who came in to work on the ads for the agency, such as some pro basketball players (Karl Malone and a couple others I can't remember names of as I am a California fan), Billie Jean King (super, super nice and down-to-earth lady), Samuel L Jackson, and others. That was a really fun job. Besides being a mom, though, I think my most rewarding job is the one I am doing now. I work as an Instructional Assistant with multi-handicapped kids in middle school. Both physically and emotionally handicapped. Challenging as the job is, it is also so giving to me. I don't make hardly any money in the scheme of things, but I get more back than a paycheck.
