Our biggest friend was the Going To The Potty Book and Video. (The one that is a red cover.)
My daughter used pull ups and they worked for us.
We also had alot of trips to the store to pick up "panties".
Keep inmind this was many moons ago but she LOVED to wear her Bugs Life panties.
It took time and when she was ready she used the potty.
ALSO, it might not even be your child not wanting to go but her body. Many children actually grow into their bladders. (Our Ped. told us this.)
Stickers were our best friend as well.
