I don't/haven't yet received from Freecycle, but have given a lot. I have always donated, usually to goodwill-type places. But, I feel so much better giving to individuals (even though I KNOW there are trollers on Freecycle who are resalers. However, those are less than those who want/need things so if occasionally a resaler gets some of the stuff I no longer need, oh well. I quite often do Freecycle, probably at least 2 times a month. I would say that probably about 30% of the time, unfortunately, there are no shows...which is always irritating! Most just don't show up or even call to cancel or reschedule. But I ALWAYS have a back-up and if the no-show comes later to try and collect, too bad.
