With all of the neat and cheap invitations/paper w/envelopes included that you can buy nowadays and do the invits on your home computer, I don't get what the big deal is about invitations anymore. There are some very professional items out there. All of the neat stuff wasn't available when i got married and you still had to go to a professional printer to get them done, which was expensive. I guess I can see the expense with stamps if you're inviting a lot of guests.
I haven't seen a bridal website either, but we haven't been invited to a wedding in years. I think everyone we know is married or newly divorced, ha ha. The website sounds neat. I don't guess I see a problem with it either, but I would be confused if I was sent an email to the website without there being any type of email 'invitation' included. I would be like, "Are we invited or do they just want us to look at the website?" I think a lot of people would be offended though if they found out that some people got 'real' invitations and others just received an 'email' one. Might make them feel like they were not that important of a guest. I do however think it would be WONDERFUL for the RSVP thing. Most of us are on our computers daily and can quickly do this, instead of trying to get time to sit down and fill out the RSVP card & actually mail it.
