I was 18 when I had my oldest. Got married (the 1st time) at 16, divorced at 18. Remarried when I was almost 21 and have been married a little over 10 years. My oldest will be 13 in March. The other two are 4 1/2 and 6 months. I'm THE youngest mother in my oldest dd's class.
I was way too young to be having kids at 18. I see that now. I HOPE she waits until she's much older to have any kids. I SO don't want to be a really young grandma.
My mom was 36 when she had me and hubby's mom was around 34-35. All grandparents are in their mid to upper 60's now, so we don't get much "help" in the babysitting area.
