Hmmmm.....many of my co-workers and the people who work for me are 10 or more years younger than me (ages 20-35 or so) and I haven't noticed what you mention. They are all college-educated (BS, MS, PhD) and mostly male so maybe that makes a difference. Generally speaking, men don't jabber on as much as women anyways.
