My mom and DH's mom were best friends in high school. DH parents lived and worked at a Christian Ranch. Summer before my Senior year in HS, my Mom sent me out there to work, she said I had a friend in HS that has a son your age, you should look him up. I went to the Ranch, was miserable there, it was in MD, I lived in AZ. I had seen DH, but he had a girlfriend at the time, so I stayed away. They broke up (he told me later, he was actually interested in someone else, thats why they broke up and then he met me
) and within a couple of days, him and I were talking, started dating, I went back to AZ and he went to college in VA. We kept in touch, I saw him at Christmas and we've been together ever since! We were married in 1999 when we were 20. Our Moms saw each other for the first time in 20 years when he took me to Prom. Were were featured with his family in the Ranch newsletter that explained our story, we can't wait until our kids can go to the camp there.
