WOW~She is quite the hostess!!!
My question is: was she your friend prior to her selling items. (I have several "friends" that are real friendly to me when they are hosting Longaberger and Southern Living parties!!)
If she is a true friend I would just tell her the truth. I do not know many people that could/would go to all of these parties and buy items. Let her know that you have $$ but choose and need to use it on things that are a priority and not a luxury.
I hope that she will understand.
