I feel that they should be 18 at least. My DD is still 6yrs away from driving but even now I think about when the time comes and worry. I don't like the fact that when they are under 18 and they wreck or do something stupid that it's the parent's responsibilty. I feel if the state's feel that thy're mature enough to drive at 16 then they should be responsible for all their own actions. I work with a lady who's daughter snuck out when she was 16 and "stole" her mother's brand new Honda Accord, loaded six of her friends in then wrecked it. She was very mad to put it nicely because she was told she could not have any friends in the car anyway.
