DH and I were together 8 years before we had our first.....we were both 38 when our beautiful daughter was born and I was just 1 month shy of my 41st birthday with the second, my DS. DD now 16 and now you can figure out that my kids are the same age as some of your grandkids probably. But I will tell you that I truly believe that having my kids later in life has kept me so much younger than so many of my contemporaries. I listen to "my" music (being an old hippie and rocker too) and still love and listen to their music! instead of taking my grandkids to Disneyland and Magic Mountain, I am still going on those same rides with my teens.
