I'm with you and I think he deserves whatever he gets!
What really makes me mad is that some people in the media have placed blame on Shawn Hornbeck because he stayed with this predator for so long and never contacted authorities on his own. In an interview with Greta Van Sustern on 1/15/07, Bill O'Reilly said "there was an element here that this kid liked about his circumstances" and he also said the following "The situation here for this kid looks to me to be a lot more fun than what he had under his old parents. He didn't have to go to school. He could run around and do whatever he wanted." Even before it was completely "known" that these boys suffered sexual abuse, you just don't make comments like that. Unless you've been in this child's shoes and suffered the abuse, threats and brainwashing, you really don't know what it's like. How the heck is an 11 year old boy supposed to fight back agains a large adult male with a gun? Don't people realize what these predators do - that they mentally break these children down and threaten not only their lives, but the lives of their family?
