I think you can block it with your firewall but I'm not 100 percent sure on how to do it
By the way, If you are ever concern on what your kids are doing online or wonder if they are playing it safe..There is a programs out there that you can easily install and it will record everything that the users do online or offline...It will takes pictures of the website, record websites history and every keystroke that is type in also it record all the chats...Doesn't matter if the user clear history it will still keep everything they do..
Every since my kids went online I have had this program installed..I know some people may not approve of it but I rather be safe than sorry!!! There are alot pervents just waiting to lure kids in you hear it about every day...In the past 7 years my kids had 2 people that I believe targeted my kids..I had all the rules in place and my kids still broke my rules..When I caught them breaking the rules they had pc privelages yanked in 1 month increments.
My pc are set up right next to each other so you figure nothing will happen your kids will play by the rules sitting right next to you,,,,Nope....My ds was talking to a complete stranger and within 5 min of talking to her(which I don't believe was a her to begin with ) sent a picture of a girl in her bra and undies And when my ds asked why she sent that she stated I thought you wouild like it & etc She was asking all personal qustions.... I asked my ds who was he talking to and he outright lied to me...I called up the program and found out what he was doing ..The next day she instant message him and I type in telling her I called the police and warned her never to contact my son again! I have everything montiored and have recorded everything in their chat.
I don't check on them everyday I want to give them their privacy...But when I suspect something is going on I look and have the peace of mind..Kids are smart when it comes to a pc they know all the tricks to quickly minus a screen and clear all their tracks..
