Hello!

Looking for something posted on the boards? Searching is easy, just follow the steps below.

The search engine has several options depending on what you are trying to search for on the boards.

You'll find the search button located at the top of every page on the Shopping Boards.

You can just click search and enter a keyword or click Advanced Search for the following:

1) Search By Keyword - in this box located on the top left hand side of the search screen, is where you would enter a particular word(s) that you want to find.

2) Search By User Name - in this box located on the top right hand side of the search screen, is where you would enter a particular username you want to find. You can either search an exact name or match partial name.

Underneath this, there are two options that you will see other choices for. These choices are how you want to perform your search.

Search For Posts From - This is a pull down box giving you 5 choices; search from yesterday, a week ago, 2 weeks ago, a month or 3 months ago. Just click on the button next to where it says "yesterday" for your options to appear, then select one.

Search Forum - This gives you a drop down box for where to search. You can choose to search all the boards or one particular board. Directly under this, you will see a box that you need to click one of the 4 options shown. These options are how you want your search to be performed; Search entire posts , Search titles only, Show results as posts or Show results as threads.


As an example, say I want to search for Tide coupons on the Coupon/Rebate Swap Board (CRS).

1) I would enter the word Tide into the "Search By Keyword" box.
2) I would then choose in the "Search Forum" drop down box the Coupon/Rebate Swap Board (CRS).
3) Next, I would choose "show results as posts".
4) And finally, I would choose in the "Search For Posts From" drop down box, the time frame of 2 weeks ago.
