If you can afford it, and are staying in a disney resort...the meal plan is worth it. If anything just the fact you don't have to budget for meals. I have heard nothing but praise for it. Oftentimes in late fall they seem to offer free disney dining to increase park attendance once schools are in session.

Unfortunately we can never go during that time due to my DH's work schedule. I heard that they are making changes to the meal plan where it isn't going to be such a great deal anymore.
