Thanks so much to all of you for your advice... She came over last night and we've decided on $100 per week. She was paying $130 per week, but she won't be able to file the tax credit. On the flip side, the kids will get one-on-one help with homework (and one is dyslexic so could really use extra help) and occasional dinners, I'm sure. Plus, they'll be able to attend after school activities that they haven't previously been able to participate in. I think it will be beneficial for both of us, but we're only doing this on a trial basis (hence the desire to not worry about the tax ID numbers, etc. yet) as I'm not entirely sure it will work. I want to make sure that she doesn't start "having to work late" a lot and my husband is not completely on board as he thinks it will cause problems between my sis and me. Well, we'll see. Thanks again for all your help!
