We have an outdoor clothesline, it was here when we moved in and the house was built in 1930, so they must have used it alot in earlier days. We have never used it to dry clothes (allergic to pollen) but have used it to dry craft projects on, like tye dye shirts and we tye dyed a comforter for DD's room and that type thing. Even though we don't use it alot I would hate to be told I can't hang something out if I wanted to.
