I'm thinking maybe I phrased my post incorrectly. If I saw sheets out I wouldn't think it was junky BUT the majority of people who hang out their laundry in our area ALSO have other junk around their house so it just adds to the "visual" of having more outside than need be,thus, appearing more junky. My grandma had a neighbor who had a clothesline and all we would see all day is his underwear flapping in the breeze...not the sight we want to be seeing. They would stay out there all day..sometimes days at a time. I guess I have a warped opinion of clotheslines because of the ones I have seen so I apologize if I offended anyone
