Yes on just about every Cops show they are in some dirty nasty house and then the next thing you know the cops are running through the back yard with clothes hung all over the clothesline, so I can see where some ppl made the leap......does a clothes line bring to mind a trashy place...Yes, I can see it. But in this day and age where everyone is going GREEN and doing their part to help the earth, I think clotheslines are a wonderfully simple way to reduce the amount of energy we use on a daily basis AND you are helping your electric bill.

I use a clothesline for rugs, sheets and towels, sweaters and some of my kids heavier clothing such as jackets and jeans. Not everything goes outside to the line but, I might just start doing so.
