Those infections from pic lines are so horrible - my dad ultimately lost the fight because of his final sepsis infection originating from the site of the pic line.

I've been trying so hard to be Upbeat this season, but have been wishing all along that someone in my family would realize how close I was to not being here, and tell me that they were glad that I was....and sadly it was not a member of my own family, but of my MC family to tell me this.
It was such a rough year, and with each infection and hospital stay, I would just cry and cry. I told the Dr. I didn't want to play the game anymore. I would beg the anesthesiologist to give me some extra so that I didn't have to wake up. My kids kept me going.....
