I read constantly, but some I finished recently and loved were
Ken Follett "Pillars of the Earth", and the sequel "World Without End"
Allison Weir "The Six Wives of Henry VIII" (non fict) and "Eleanor of Aquataine" (it was interesting to see real events from this book merge into the fictional "pillars of the earth)
Dan Simmons "The Terror"
also cant remember the author, but "Empress Orchid" and "The Last Empress"...a fictional portrayal of the last Chinese emprees
I really liked "Water for Elephants". Not only do I love elephants, and the story, but I am Polish, which is the language the elephant understood.
