My mom was the same way. That is why I loved it when my grandparents had me. My grandparetns house was very neat. My mother on the other hand was always too drunk or medicated to clean and if we tried she went off on us. Needless to say I am a total neat freak now and panic everytime I dont clean that my house is gonna turn into hers.
now to yout original question what was the worse thing about my childhood, everything. The only happy memories I have are from when I was with my grandparents.l I was a spoiled princess over at their house and can do no wrong. I was their first grandchild and the first girl born into my dad's side of the family (my grandparents just had boys) at their house I didn't have to do anything because anytime my grandma would say to do something like pick up my toys, my grandpa would tell her I was too cute to clean and thats why he married her
I was grandpa's little girl and I was also a belated b-day gift I was born 5 days after his birthday. even after he passed away, my grandma still spoiled me
