I agree I love the light, but I guess it would depend upon who can look in. If you are bordering on a woods beyond your deck then I would be a minimalist. If there is a neighbor over there, then I would probably put up the cafe curtain type. The cafe curtain positioned from the middle of the window down would give you the light streaming in from the top pane but would give you privacy below. I would want to sit at the table in my nothings if I wanted to! When you are standing by your table, how high is the center of that window? Would "you" be covered from the outside prying eyes? If you went with a simple tenson rod inside each window- you could play with lengths of fabric for a cheap experiment. IMHO.
