Wow. I thought it was just me. My fiance just had to have caphalon pots and pans and I only hand wash and can't get the nasty look off the bottoms. They always look dirty no matter what I've tried as if oil or something baked into them. I had been using my farberware but he wanted non stick and I threw out the non stick tfal long ago because the coating was flaking off. Lo and behold my small caphalon saucepan is losing it's coating and I try not to use metal utensils with it. BTW these were purchased less than 2 years ago at Linens and things and were not cheap. I wish someone had a solution to get them clean please let us know!
