I have been married for over 40 years and seldom throw anything away, so I have sets, (bought because sometimes that was cheaper than a few individiual pieces), odd pieces, (like my one piece of Calphalon bought to see if I liked it), and gifts of sets. I have pieces left of a set I got for a wedding gift. They were cheap and have the old original teflon in them, and don't get used very often anymore. But that old teflon works so much better, even now, than the new stuff.
