My poor little DS. He is 9 and woke up this morning with a 102 temp.

He has not gotten off the couch all day other than to go to the bathroom. (He is normally a very active child)

He was eating ok this morning, but since about 4 he throws up everything he puts in his mouth, including tylenol for the fever!

How long should I let him go not being able to drink? He doesnt throw up unless he swallows something. (about 20 minutes after he takes a drink)

I am thinking I should call the doctor in the morning if he still cannot drink, what do you all think?

I'm thinking that yes you need to get a definitive diagnosis. He could have anything at this point.
Fever on top of the vomiting can lead to dehydration. I would definitely get in to the Dr. in the morning if he's still vomiting and running the fever.

Tepid/warm baths may help get the fever down.
You can get acetaminophen suppositories over the counter---I know it's not fun, but you may have to do it to get the fever down. Once you get the fever down, he may be able to keep some fluids down.
