Good morning. We're off of school this week due to Mardi Gras, and I am so thankful!
I was wondering who else on here celebrates Mardi Gras? What do you do? Are you fatter from cream cheese filled King Cakes? HA HA! A lot of my friends leave town during this time ( I imagine Disney is packed right now), but we're staying here. We'll go into the city around 5 AM tomorrow morning to rope off a spot on St. Charles. We're walk to Canal St. and get chicken at 7 AM and people watch until Rex starts. It will be Andrew's first downtown parade (he'll be two in April), but Haley is already a pro! I would love to hear what a few of you do. --Marilou
