Economic conservatives believe that success will be found in an unregulated totally free economy. They also wrongly believe that cutting taxes increases revenue even though there is not a single instance where that has ever happened. They believe in no oversite whatsover. Therefore, any gains in medium income have all gone to the top 10%.
We are broke for two main reasons. First, a tax cut was given (mostly for those in the upper 10%) during a time of war. And, secondly, contracts are being awarded without bidding to partisan supporters on a "cost plus" basis.
You need to get a clue.
