I was at work today and I got disturbing news from hubby about our Oldest son "Thumper" (22 yrs). Hubby received a call from one of the social workers who works/worked with him that Donnie was in the hospital because he got beat up badly, Hubby unfortuantely did not have his cell phone on him when she called so he just had the message and spoke to her later.

Anyhow long story short, "Thumper" got jumped, got the living daylights beat out of him. He is missing teeth, fractured his jaw and will be having surgery tomorrow. Initially he was released from the hospital, but about an hour ago he was taken to the hospital by his friend an EMT and his mother as he was very sick and in pain , its my understanding that they did not want to discharge him initially but "Thumper" was being stubborn and un-cooperative. He has to have a plate put in his jaw during surgery. I dont know much else but I know he needs prayers.

The person who did this has been arrested, there were witnesses who will be called to testify that "Thumper" did nothing to precipitate this attack even though the girlfriend of the attackee claims otherwise, you know how that goes but when you are outnumbered by witnesses who say he did nothing you know who the cops believe not the girlfriend.

The surgery is at 7:30 am Colorado time I think thats Pacific.

So please pray for him and pray for the person who did this to him he must be a very angry person and I imagine they will be facing the same charges that our dis-owned son "Junior" (20) is in jail for in Kansas. Aggravated Assault with bodily injury.

Just send some prayers up to my son "Thumper" if you can he was in the wrong place at the wrong time is what we can gather.

I guess some for us since we are Thousands of miles away in VA and cant get to him I am emotionally and physically drained right now.
