You all just inspired me to start yet again to learn to crochet. I used to make chan=ins and single stitch with my mom, tried it again a few years ago but never quite got the turns right. I always ended up with a triangle shape! I can do chain, single and double stitches just fine, but those darn ends make me crazy!

I went on youtube and found a few videos- much easier than following drawings and pictures. The Knitwitch has the most clear explanation for me. Just taught my dd to do a chain stitch and single stitch. She's all pumped up too. She went to bed crocheting.
