I was a big Alias fan so was paying more attention to Garner than the other gal (didn't even recognize her), but I didn't see her doing anything she needed to apologize for. I think that during the rest of the interview, she didn't even know exactly who he was and was feeling rather discombobulated as she tried to re-gain her composure. Had she known he was a fellow actor she might've reacted differently, but I truly got the feeling that she thought he was just some guy off the street who'd been drinking who came up, embraced her, and kissed her neck. Initially he wasn't FACING her - and by the time he did face her, he was pretty much so "up close and personal" that if she didn't know him personally, she might not've assessed who he was, even though she's surely seen his movies.

He just looked very wild-eyed and "off". She was caught off guard by someone she didn't know who was invading her personal space way, way too much. I give her a pass.
I also agree with both of you. I think both women handled it very well. I didn't think they were rude at all. He was the one that was rude and out of line.
