Lisa, was the $6 RR from previously, a Fusion one? If so, that is why it didn't print a new one. It has nothing to do with the $4 mfg coupon, which some cashiers like to tell you. For example, you can't use a Fusion RR to pay for a Fusion razor and get a new RR. However, you can use an RR from something else to pay for it and get a Fusion RR. I've read on other boards about these RR problems.
