we use the Cuisinart fondue pots...LOVE them! Beside fondue, they are great for buffets as well to keep food warm. Ours have electric cords that have magnets to stay attached to the pot. That way, you take them off and the pot can be put in the dishwasher. We have two of them and usually do chocolate and a broth for meats and veggies
