I would tell myself to not listen to the parents who tell you that you are no good and the root of all evil.
I would tell myself that you only have to wait 8 more years till you never have to deal with these abusers again
I would tell myself that you are a kind loving person who will be loved and respected someday and to hang in there
I would tell myself that it is okay to be smart and compassionate--these qualities will be cherished some day
