I am good about it. I keep a large legal size brown envelope pinned to the cork board in the laundry room. I put all my receipts in there.
If it is something that I have bought with an owner's manual, I make a copy of the receipt, and put the original in the owner's manual, and the copy in the envelope.
Works like a charm. I even got DH to do this....he puts ALL receipts in there, and I weed thru them periodically. You just never know when you'll need that receipt.
