DH & I have quite a few accounts, both joint and individually. We pay all our bills out of two joint accounts where DH's paycheck & reimbursement checks are deposited. At some point we are going to consolidate down to one joint checking account, but we've had trouble switching DH's direct deposit, so for now it's just easier to have two.

I handle all the day-to-day money (paying bills, writing checks, etc.) and DH handles all of our inventments (stocks, mutual funds, etc.).
