I go by the wording on the coupon and the exp. date.

Some people don't have a problem with it, tho, and it is my opinion that this is part of why coupons are scrutinized as much as they are.

Also, if it were "OK" to use a coupon past the stated exp. date, then why circumvent the cashier by doing the self scanner?
