I have been a member but haven't really gone to meetings at the grammar school, but I do belong to the preschool parents group and do a lot there. I went to a PTA meeting a couple of weeks ago and really got overwhelmed and volunteered for way too much!
A lot of my friends are on it and I would like to be involved, but wow they do a lot! I figured once DD is out of preschool I will have only one school to worry about so maybe it'll be easier, but maybe it's not such a good idea!?
Is anyone else on one and is it too much? They pass the sign up sheet around and somehow I am on it?
I went from not even going to baking, putting signs up for the elections, setting up for the tricky tray, bringing food for teacher appreciation day......... someone take my pen away!!
