I had problems when I asked for rainchecks so I emailed CVS. Here is the reply I received.

Went to the store & they refused to give me rainchecks even after showing them the email. Called CVS & she said that all CVS stores are to give rainchecks on everything except seasonal items. She is contacting the DM who is to take care of the problem at this store.
I did go to another CVS & asked for a raincheck & the cashier got confused. Showed her my email & told her about the call & she wrote a raincheck. Made a copy of my email too. This is the third CVS store I asked for a raincheck & at each one they got confused.
Shows what kind of training they are giving their cashiers. From what I have seen they just teach basics on the register & that is it.
