Went to a wedding last fall and the mother/son dance was "I Loved Him First". Someone sang it instead of using the soundtrack (the real words are "I Loved Her First" )-- it talks about a father/mother loving their child before anyone else did and even though they're getting married, there will always be a special place in their heart for their love. It's a very good song.
