Once you get your pets treated and the house treated with borax it will last as long as the pets don't bring them back in. Make sure you treat the pets and vacum a ton. Be careful with the vacum and make sure that you empty it every time you sweep because they will live in your vacum cleaner. Empty it in a plastic bag outside of your house and tie the bag.
