The "Sorry, but I've been SO BUSY!"

I can't tell you how much this makes me cringe. Most of the time I hear that excuse when it's something that could have been accomplished in a minute or two, anyways. I'm sure some people use it with sincerity, but lately that's not what I've been experiencing.

It's getting to the point now that when I hear it, it just translates to me as "Sorry, it wasn't important enough."
