mitcham - I'm so sorry you didn't have the Mother's Day you deserved. I guess I would chalk it up to his feeling sick this weekend. I hope that you find a way to tell him (in a light-hearted way) that you're glad he's feeling better, and maybe now he can make it up to you that he missed Mother's Day... what could it hurt to put it out there? You'd also be reminding him not to take you for granted, if in fact it just hadn't dawned on him to do something.
